You’ve said “I do”, so now it’s time to eat, drink, and be merry. Have guests proceed to their tables in a well choreographed dance with the help of these DIY table numbers. With just a few basic office supplies and the printable template, you can create these gorgeous table numbers at home. And as a bonus I’ve included the template for the coordinating holders, which will turn plain old binder clips into a piece of art.
Supplies:
- Printable templates
- White card stock (or color of your choice)
- Scissors or paper trimmer
- 1.25" binder clips (from your local office supply store)
- Double sided tape
- Corner rounder (optional)
Step 1: Download and Print
Download the two templates for this project and save them to your computer desktop. Open in Microsoft Word, change the table numbers as needed and print each page on 8.5 x 11 card stock.
Step 2: Trim & Round Corners
Use scissors or a paper trimmer to cut the number templates along the trim lines. Round the corners with your scissors or a corner rounder.
Step 3: Cut Clip Wrappers
Trim the clip wrappers with your scissors or the paper trimmer.
Step 4: Tape Wrappers to Binder Clips
Tape the binder wrappers to the 1.25" clips using double sided tape. Tuck the wrapper edges under the clip edge as much as possible to give a seamless finish.
Step 5: Remove the Clip Handles
Clip each number into a binder clip. Remove the clip handles by squeezing together the arms from one side and pulling them from their slots.
Hint: As the printing is a neutral gray, you can print the numbers and wrappers on colored card stock to coordinate with your wedding theme.
