About this Save the Date Postcard Template
This save the date postcard template comes with two powerful features: First the calendar is constructed as a table in Microsoft Word, so you can adjust the numbers to reflect the month of your wedding. Second, the back of the postcard has a mail merge address feature that makes addressing your postcards a breeze.
Don’t be intimidated by the term mail merge, I’ve done all the set up and data linking for you. All you have to do is open the provided Microsoft Excel file and type in (or copy & paste) your guest list. Watch the template tutorial video where I walkthrough entering in your guest list and customizing the save the date wording.
This template uses black ink only, so it’s inexpensive to print and looks great on colored paper. Choose a card stock with to match your wedding colors, I recommend 67lb for jam-free printing at home. Paper-Source and Envelope Mall offer a variety of colored and shimmer card stock that would work great for this project.
