Keepin’ it simple with a black and white wedding. I link what Snippet & Ink has to say about finding herself drawn to simple small weddings in her blog post. Black and white is a timeless, classic look that can create a very elegant but simple wedding pallet. Soften the look by substituting white for cream or ivory. This corner scroll wedding invitation template is a simple design with a lot of sophistication. The background color is determined by the paper color you choose to print on, in the example above I’ve used cream colored paper. You could completely change the look of this invitation by printing on a colored card stock like blue, pink or yellow. Make it your own!

How to Make This Black Scroll Wedding Invitation
You can make and print the invitation shown above at home with the template file at the bottom of this post. It’s really easy!
1. Download & Open the template in MS Word
2. Type in your event details
3. Print at home on standard 8.5 x 11 paper
4. Trim along dotted lines to final 5×7 invitation size
The template yields two 5×7 invitations. After you print simply cut along the trim lines to finish. For a professional look, use a paper cutter to cut out the invitations. This will make clean, perfectly strait edges to the finished invitation. I recommend printing on Classic Crest 80# Cardstock in avalanche white or classic cream.

I am also really interested in using this and would like to know how soon you expect the RSVP card to be out. I have to make my invitations soon because the date is coming way too quickly. Thanks so much!

Thanks sooooooo much you are my life savior!
I love this template and was hoping to print the corner scroll in a different color. Is there any way that I could change the scroll color?
These are stunning! I was wondering if you had any plans to design a 1930s or 40s style invite. My wedding will be held at a beautiful old movie theatre (circa 1936), and I’m going for a subtle classic Hollywood feel with a black and white theme. Thanks for these wonderful designs…the existence of your site made my day!
Thank you for creating this website.. You are a lifesaver!!! Love all your designs.
