Art Nouveau peaked in popularity at the turn of the 20th century (1890–1905). Art nouveau design characterized by organic, especially floral and other plant-inspired motifs, as well as highly-stylized, flowing curvilinear forms. I was inspired to design an Art Nouveau wedding invitation template after seeing this a vintage chic real wedding post on Intimate Weddings Blog. I love the pattern on the groom’s coat and the brides feather and birdcage veil. Lets go back to the 1890′s make this Art Nouveau wedding invitation!
How to Make This Wedding Invitation
You can make and print the invitation shown above at home with the template file at the bottom of this post. It’s really easy!
1. Download & Open the template in MS Word
2. Type in your event details
3. Print at home on standard 8.5 x 11 paper
4. Trim along dotted lines with paper cutter to finish size
The template yields two 5×7 invitations. After you print simply cut along the trim lines to finish. For a professional look, use a paper cutter to cut out the invitations. This will make clean, perfectly strait edges to the finished invitation.
Make it Fabulous Tips!
Tip #1: Print the invitation on Envelope Mall’s Classic Crest in ‘Natural White’, the smooth finish on this paper makes for crisp ink colors. Cover stock in the range of 60-80 pound will pint on almost all home printers without jamming. Heavy paper is key to tricking everyone to think you bought expensive stationery shop invitations (we won’t tell your little secret).
Tip #2: To play up the purple in the pink and green, pair this invitation with Paper Source’s ‘Leaf ’ or ‘Blossom’ Envelopes. For a more traditional look matching Natural White envelopes are available. Look for A7 size envelopes to fit these invitations.
Tip #3: Fonts used in the template for the script font ‘Jane Austen’ and for event details ‘Garamond’.

Love this one! Any chance there will be a response card with this one too? Thanks so much for your fabulous work!
I agree with Chrissa! These are amazing and is their a chance of a response card? I would also love to use these and could somehow create a blank response card, but one that matches would be so gorgeous!
I love ALL of your work and I am creating reasons to use other templates!
