6 Budget Friendly Ways to Bring Fall Colors to your Wedding

As Autumn leaves turn their brilliant hue,
Two hearts join and say “I do”.

Fall will be upon us before we know it here in the Northern Hemisphere, bringing along with it a kaleidoscope of oranges and reds and browns in the natural world. This color palette is so unpretentiously brilliant, and in my book should be embraced in all ways possible. Making use of the natural world can also help keep wedding costs down. Below are my favorite 6 budget friendly ways to bring Fall colors to your wedding.

1. Photo Props

Remember running through piles of fall leaves as a kid and having the time of your life? Remember what good, free fun it was? Well, I'm not saying you need to be doing this in your big white dress, but all those vibrant leaves lying on the ground can make for fun photos. Save your favorite inspiration shots to Pinterest and share with your photographer for them to add their spin on.

2. Ceremony Decor

Fall is the perfect season for an outdoor wedding. The temperatures are comfortable, the crisp clean air is invigorating, and nature provides all your decorating needs.

3. Bridesmaids

Bring the colors of Fall to your ceremony in your bridesmaid's dresses and bouquets. Floral arrangements in burnt oranges and dark reds are drop dead gorgeous, but flowers of any color can quickly stretch a budget. I love this simple wheat bouquet to keep with the theme of the season.

4. Guest Book

Fingerprint trees in lieu of a guest book are always cute (I wish I had discovered this before my wedding) and having the leaves the color of Fall couldn't be more fitting in this instance.

5. Stationery

Set the mood for your Fall wedding right from the start with your invitation suite. Budget friendly options include using a printable template from Download & Print, and getting crafty with handmade embellishments. Make a pocket from kraft paper, dress up with a burlap band, use lace, ribbon and leaves for easy and budget friendly invitation embellishments.

6. Centerpieces

A few twigs from your local park and a little bit of creativity can go a long way to dressing up your reception tables. DIYing any element of your wedding need not be overly difficult or time consuming if you pick and choose the projects that you want to tackle.
